For TJ’s Middle and High School Youth!
A lock-in to explore key areas of TJ’s focus on justice

October 13th @ 7:00 PM – October 14th @ 3:30 PM

There is no charge for this event. 😊 Please turn in your permission forms no later than Wednesday, October 11th.

Middle and High School youth are invited to JUSTICE JAM, a special
lock-in designed to introduce youth to the Social Justice Committee’s areas of focus and lay the foundation for youth leadership in these areas.

Immigration Justice    LGBTQ+ Justice

Racial Justice    Reproductive Justice

No matter which justice area is meaningful to you, this special gathering will provide plenty of exploration.

We’ll start out with community-building, games, snacks, and a youth-led circle worship with DLRE Barb on Friday evening. (Remember to eat dinner before you arrive!)

On Saturday, Rus Funk will lead youth through exploring the focus areas and prioritizing what issues youth might want to step up to act on. Rus is a great presenter who will be using interactive games and activities so this is sure to be a fun experience.
