Seven Deadly Grins? - Service Auction Sermon Rev. Elwood Sturtevant
The Catholic Church taught that there were seven deadly sins: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony. One of Forrest Church's early books was The Seven Deadly Virtues. But this morning? We'll see. - ERS |

The mission of Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church is to make a difference in the world by creating a community of celebration, sharing and support, where we explore questions of belief, spirit and values, and where we welcome all who seek the paths of truth and who honor freedom with responsibility. We welcome and support all who believe that religion is wider than any one sect and deeper than any single set of opinions.
Friends and visitors are always welcome. Membership is open to anyone 16 or older who feels comfortable in our fellowship and in sympathy with our purposes.

After the service every Sunday we have coffee and conversation in Weston Hall. This is an excellent chance to find out what we are all about and meet some wonderful people. The first Sunday of the month we have a potluck - and during the summer they are vegetarian. Join us after the service! |
