Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church welcomes and affirms people of all abilities. We have taken the following steps to assure that no one is excluded from full participation in the life of the church.

Mobility: Our sanctuary, fellowship hall and religious education classrooms are fully accessible to those using wheel chairs or having limited mobility. We have a wheelchair, walker and canes available in the coat closet by the main door. Almost all restrooms are handicap accessible.

Sight: Large print hymnals and Orders of Service are always available. We also have a braille hymnal. Please ask any greeter for assistance. If you would like an orientation tour of the campus during the week. Contact the church office at 502-425-6943 to make arrangements.

Chemical sensitivity: We use odorless candles, are working toward non lead candles and encourage participants at the church to be fragrance free.

Special needs children: If you want your child to participate in the religious education program and feel that they may require special accommodation due to learning or behavioral issues. Please contact our Director of Religious Education, Barb Friedland, at 502-425-6943.

Service Animals: We have grassy areas beyond the parking spaces where service animals may relieve themselves.

If you have any questions not answered or concerns not addressed. Please contact Janet Taylor at Janet@tjuc.org or 502-425-6943.
